The research of my dissertation belongs to the domain of WEBGIS . Mainly aiming at the key issues of spatial data browse on Internet, this study investigates the multi-scale representation of spatial data and the continuous zoom in/out both in theory and practice works . An example is studying via the combination of technology of SVG-the standard of the transmission of graph by net which is put forward by OGC, but not the SVG or WEBGIS separately, The study includes the following information: Based on the review of all current works in map generalization and in the spatial data browse, the model of multi-scale representation is studied on the basis of LOD technology, which aims at the limitation of map generalization and the slowness of reflection of spatial data in network, including different methods: one under the same scale and the other under the different scale . Due to the difference between file formats and their bad compatibility, the demands of digital earth(digital china, digital region, digital city, etc ) and the urgent requirement of the inter-operation of spatial data, this study organize the dada through SVG technology in the dissertation to meet the future demand better . Furthermore, the ability of extension of SVG is the important reason for using it. Unlike the traditional zoom model, this paper presents a new conception of continue zoom in/out, which means if you are interested in one area, you just need to zoom that area till to the LODs, however, other areas still keep the original data, as a result ,it will bring a stereo feeling firstly, and reduce the information traffic to improve the speed of the response on net. In the hierarchy of data organization , the corresponding relation is established between the objects from LOD1 to LOD2(1-n). In theory, we should establish the corresponding relation of 1-n and n-n, But because of the restriction of the experimental data, I don't provide the relation of n-n, whereas, I will solve this problem in my future studies. According to the method of putting theory into practice, 1 create a experiment model. Aiming at testifying the operational feasibility of the theory and the method, this system successfully performs several key functions during the study of the theory.
