Ordos Basin came into the structural evolution period of inland depression basinfrom Neoalaeozoic. Jurassic is one of the main oil-bearing layers in the basin. At theend of Triassic, Ordos basin uplifted massively affected by Indosinian movement. Thetop of Yanchang Formation suffered weathering and fluvial erosion and formed thewell-drained palaeogeomorphology landscape with many gullies and hills. ThenJurassic deposited on the background.Changqing oil field proposed clearly that exploration strategy was based on twoold channels and one zone of bruchfalten hereafter. We should develop and search oilprospecting laws and methods in practice. The two old channels are Ganshan andNingshan old channel including Mengshan channel. Ningshan and Mengshan arelocated in the study area of the article. So it is important to rebuildpalaeogeomorphology and geology reservoir model and study oil-gas accumulationregulation accurately for oil-gas exploration of Jurassic in Ordos Basin.Firstly, according to the principle of sequence stratigraphy the article analysesthe sequence, builds the equitime formation framework and masters the evolutionlaws based on the study of drilling, logging and core analysis. Secondly, the articlestudies single well facies and various geologic statistics parameters. And it analysesthe areal distribution laws and evolutionary process of sedimentary facies. Thirdly, itresearches the pore configuration, genetic type and control factor. It studies theinterformational and internal heterogeneity and comprehensive evaluation of thereaservoir. Based on the above studies, various geology parameters models(includingdeterministic geological models and stochastic models) are built on the control ofequitime formation framework. it rebuilds palaeogeomorphology, draws the crosssection diagrams of reservoir and interprets the regulation of oil-gas accumulation.Lastly, the favorable hydrocarbon accumulation areas are evaluated and forecasted.They are located on the sand body of river marginal bank and the channel bar of rivervalley on the three ramp reservoir regions. They offer reliable evidence to exploratorydevelopment.
