Water temperature is one of the important factors in water environment. It is very sensitive to water temperature for physical and chemical characteristics of water, marine organisms, crops, water ecology. The change of water temperature could take series of impact on water quality, growth of marine organisms and production of industry and agriculture in reservoir district and its lower rivers. Thus it is significant to improve environment to simulate and forecast correctly the rules about the distributions of water temperature in reservoir, so as to control water temperature.In the light of the characteristics of heat transfer on water temperature in reservoirs and based on the data collected, the 1-d water temperature model was established, validated by the road-test data of danjiangkou reservoir. We had forecast water temperature of hexi reservoir and analyzed the rules of upright water temperature by this model.For meeting Eco-environmental water demand, we have applied hydrological method (Tennant) based on history flux to forecast Eco-environmental water demand of the lower rivers.According to the theories of heat transfers and hydrodynamics on water temperature in lower breach of reservoirs, 1-d current mathematic model and 1-d water temperature model were established. With them, we forecast the temperature of reservoirs discharge in hexi watercourse and analyzed the rules water temperature along rivers.
