In view of the characters of cold region,it is a assumption to combine Xinanjiang model with glaricer melt and snowmelt runoff model.Comparing the result with that of SRM model,it shows that it is viable.Take the problem of lack of hydrologic data in cold region into account ,an effective method is to get hydrologic data of none-data regions from other regions with data according to the elevation.It can be simulated with glaricer melt and snowmelt runoff model when covering over glaricer or snowpack, otherwise with Xinanjiang model.In glaricer melt and snowmelt runoff model,the snowpack area from remotely sensed image,get relationships between area and elevation curve by DEM,and get real-time air temperature by Sine curve are got.In this paper, the artificial neural network based on genetic algorithms is used to optimize the parameters of Xinanjiang model.The genetic algorthms effectively overcomes the shortcoming of stochastic characteristic and local characteristic of neural network,and maked the algorithms steady and more suitable.The conclusion of this paper indicated that Xinanjiang model can simulate the runoff of cold region combining with glaricer melt and snowmelt runoff model.and the result is reasonable.
