With the aggravation of the grounder water resources' crisis, people become to paying more and more attention on the situation of ground water resources, the developmental trends of it and the course and the scale of exploitation. Ground water is the most important water supply in some districts where are lack of the water resources. So human beings should know how absent the ground water resources are on earth and how large the social economic scale bears the weight of exiting ground water. The research on the carrying capacity of ground water answers these urgent questions and at the same time, it has some practical significance to the government as the reference of making the policy of development.At present, the researches on the carrying capacity relate to ground, human beings, water and many kinds of resources. However, the research about carrying capacity of the ground water is still based on the qualitative analysis. The mostly reason is that the existent form of ground water restricts the study deeply. Compared with the ground water, human beings put more attention on the surface water. But ground water is an important resource of water supply in the droughty districts and human beings should know not only the amount of the ground water but the scale of the economy, human beings and sociality which it bears. The reasonable exploitation and use of the ground water are very important especially in the districts that lack of the surface water. Moreover, some districts abundant in water resource should also evaluate the carrying capacity of the ground water. Once the carrying capacity evaluated, water resource can be used scientifically.Based on existing researches, this paper brings forward the method of establishing multi-object model of carrying capacity of ground water resources. The solution of the model is the method of linear-weight step by step. This model covers forecasting, optimization and planning. It is convenient to be used in human beings talking with computer. The result of the model can offer some satisfied answers to the decision-maker.This paper takes the city of Huhehaote as the instance. The ground water'scarrying capacity of the city has been evaluated by the multi-object model. Different condition of water supply, different intention of decisions and different quota of using water has different carrying capacities. Makes a comparison of the result and gives corresponding measures. The paper gives corresponding measures on the sustainable use of the water resources in Huhehaote. Finally, this paper points out the direction of further study on the model of the capacity of water resources.
