Expression technology of real model such as vegetation like trees is a challenge research object in computer graphics and computer vision. In resent day, researches are almost based on mathematics; but with the rapid development of Virtual Reality and GIS, the develop direction is tree's 3-D model reconstruction. This paper makes use of research production in photogrammetry and computer vision, and presents a rapid and simple 3-D visualization reconstruction method using non-quantity digital camera.Main process:(1) feature extraction of trees imagesIntroduce Moravec operator and present an improved subarea adaptive Moravec operator, which is proved in test that it can smartly extract trees' feature points.(2) close-range image matchingPresent a 2-D pyramid matching technique with parallax control, and a method of core-line matching by building core-line image in real time. It solved matching difficulty in edge image deformed largely. And use multi-base stereo matching to solve matching problem of disaccord join-angle between close and far scene in image.(3) Delaunay triangle network and applicationExplain theory and arithmetic of Delaunay triangle network. And do attribute extend of Delaunay, present a Delaunay dense arithmetic based on area. This method can control triangle network's density smartly, and compensate the less of matching points in image's dim area. Accomplish smooth arithmetic of Delaunay. Test result proved this method can eliminate wrong matching points rapidly.(4) building and connecting of trees' surface modelObtain model connecting points using feature point transferring matching method, and then solve model 3-D similar transform parameter. Present model scale solving formula based on co-line function. And solved big-angle model connect problem in close-range images.From above, the paper solves the matching difficulty of trees' image and realizes the trees' 3-D visual reconstruction. Summarizes developmental idea and arithmetic in present research, and bring forward some new idea and method combined with material problem.
