Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) is an epoch-making spaceflight and information technology in the 1980s. It has played a great role in the fields of scientific research, economy and national defense etc. After USA and Russia have setup the GPS and GLONASS satellite navigation systems, Galileo system is being implemented in Europe. We our country has developed double-star regional navigation system, and we are ready to establish a more functional navigation systemThis thesis is based on the study on the effect of ground observation stations' distribution on the precision of orbit determination. Our country has setup two additional observation stations in Antarctic and Arctic. Can these two observations be used as the observation stations for the beidou navigation system has been discussed much in this paper. Simulation test approved that these two stations have contributed much in the orbit determination precision, especially in the Z direction.
