Interpolation of aerogeophysical data is the primary thing of assessing andinterpreting of data, choosing spatial interpolation method is very important in thisfield. Researchers were able to analyze spatial data that have structural and stochasticfeatures by using theory and methods of Geostatistics. From this point, the paperstudied feasibility of these methods on processing such data. I hoped that it canbecome a kind of new method to process aerogeophysical data by using spatialcorrelation.Taking example of aerogeophysical data of somewhere in Gansu province, Ianalyzed the feature of data and introduced several interpolation methods ofAerogeophysical data. Then I studied theory of GIS and some spatial interpolationmethods, and put the emphasis on theory of Geostatistics and Krigings.Aerogeophysical data is regionalized variable, so I interpolated surface model fromthe data based on Geostatistics techniques in GIS.During the process of processing, I selected optimal method of Kriging based onspatial distribution feature and trend of data;then I detailedly studied spatialcorrelation of aerogeophysical data and analyzed their directional influences andrange factor etc.;finally the prediction surface of aerogeophysical data was finishedin the best way. Through comprehensive analysis, I found that surface information ofaerogeophysical data accords with feature of geologic structure and rocky distribution.The prediction surface that Ordinary Kriging created and the surface that three-splinecreated are very similar. In conclusion, Geostatistics is capable of processingaerogeophysical data, and it has predominance on structure analysis and precision, soit is recommendable.
