Nowadays, Energy lack and environmental pollution are the two greatest difficulties facing the human being. It's urgent to develop renewable clean energy. Hydrogen is considered as he best substitute for fossil energy,with the advantages of high thermal density, clean combustion and renewability. Biological hydrogen production technology is thought being most potential among all hydrogen production methods as it's mild production conditions and low cost. Obtaining clean hydrogen by bio-technology is the studying theme in many countries.Photosynthetic bacteria (PSB) hydrogen production with sun light play important role among biological hydrogen production technology. PSB can utilize small molecular organic acid compounds to produce hydrogen and preprocessed swine manure wastewater can meet this point as substrates. Now the swine manure from livestock and poultry farms has become one of the chief pollution resources. So the bio-technology of hydrogen production utilizeing the swine manure by photosynthetic bacteria is an important research direction in the field of renewable energy and environment protection. The technology of immobilized cells is a necessary research to inprove efficiency for hydrogen production.In this paper, it selects embeding methods and adsorptive methods to immobilized cells,each methods chooses different carrier material in the hydrogen production experiment, Contrasting hydrogen production experiment of using free PSB cells, the experiment of using immobilized PSB cells obtains several carrier material for immobilizing cells have remarkable effect to improve hydrogen production ability.The result indicates that amount of hydrogen is increased 15%— 40% and 70—110% by marine alga Acid-natrium and earthen-granule immobilized PSB cells respectively. Also,The experiment of using immobilized PSB cells can prolong production time and improve volume proportion of hydrogen .Then the paper researchs and analyzes various affecting factors,such as the quantity of carrier material, illumination intensity, granule size, concentration of the swine manure sewage, ascertains optimal factors.And it finds the optimal parameter to each above-mentioned factors.
