This paper under the guidance of domestic and international newest related research progress,such as volcano petrology, reservoir geology, geochemistryand digenesis etc, we use field section,drilling well,electrical logging and geophysical exploration datas as research object, adopt microscopic and macroscopic study,indoor and outdoor research,quantity and property,traditional and modern technology,adopt comprehensive technology analytical methods,and combine the area geology datas with the research results of the past, ask for help from the normal regulations microscope,scan electric microscope, electronics probe,cathode ray,X radiation,isotope,package body,cast body,normal regulations physical property and mercury penetration methods etc,to study the characteristics of lithology,lithofacies,reservoir conditions,gas reservoir dynamic characteristics,and gas reservoir distribution scopes. After all of the comprehensive analytical we put forward the explore target suggestion.Through the research we get the following result: 1.Recognized the structure trap characteristics of Emeishan Basalt in You guanding,Da xingchang,Han wangchang and Zhou gongshan in southwest of Sichuan.2.Detailed divided Emeishan Basalt litholfacies characteristic 3.The reservoir spaces type of Emeishan Basalt are porosities,dissolved caverns,fissures or combining them each other.4.Through the research the mainly Diagenesis and porosities,dissolved caverns, fissures evolutions of the basalt reservoir, we analytical their influences to reservoir spaces properties.5. Seism special processing and predict gas reservoir distribute scopes and distribute areas.6.We think that the basalt gas reservoir is subjected to the structure movement,crack, rock and the water motive condition control in Zhou gongshan area,the gas reservoir belongs to bottom water gas reservoir,its reservoir spaces are crack-holes.7.The Zhou gongshan gas source belongs to the coal measures stratas which have high maturity.8.The bottom water is fresh water in Zhou gongshan gas reservoir, basalt and its under limestone have not obviously separate layer, they may belong to the same water motive system, so it have bigger water body Volume ,the gas reservoir may have the surface water supply, so it have stronger energy, the Short period test exploration in Zhougong 1 well show bottom water to gas well affect obviously.9.the productivity of Zhougong 1 well is higher in the past, the permeate ability of testing well explain is much larger than the core rock experiment evaluation, the Emeishan basaltic have double medium characteristics in this sections. 10.Making use of the different method to calculate the gas reservoir storage quantity. 11.The Han1well and Han 6 well in Han wangchang structure, their physical properties are better than Zhou gong 2 well,but the development degree of cracks can not compare with Zhou gong 1 well,which maybe the main reasons that the test exploration had not produce fluid. The Physical properties of Dashen 1 well is bad, so it also did not produce fluid, the You 1 well is located in the volcano rock mutually between Volcanic lithofacies and Sedimentary rock,the thickness of Emeishan Basalt is small,and it is hard to gather richer oil and gas in the You guanding structure. 12.Divided two explore target zones are Zhou gongshan and Han wangchang-Da xingchang, especially optimization Zhou gongshan, Sha ping iron factory,Zhan maoshan and Wangshan for the next explore target.
