Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) occures in different environment The distributing of AMF contain difference because of the vegetation types and the environmental factors. Arbuscular mycorrhizas (AM) are the association that is benefit to improve the nutrition of plant, increase the photosynthesis velocity of plant, enhance the resistance of the host plant to disadvantage factors. In this paper, we studied the diversity and distribution of AMF species and mycorrhizal plant species in Ordos of Inner Mongolia.A total of 112 plant species from the grassland and desert of Ordos were collected and examined, of which 108(96.43%) were infected by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. There are abundant mycorrhizal plant species in Ordos. Endangered plant species, Tetraena Mongolic, Ammopiptanthus mongolicus, Helianthemum soongoricum and Potaninia mongolica are all infected by AMF. Some of nomycorrhizal plants were also infected by AMF.Arum- and Paris-type symbioses are the two main morphological types of arbuscular mycorrhizas. Most wild plant species in this survey belong to Arum-type mycorrhizas, and only 4 plant species belong to Paris-type. Some plant species are intermedia type. There is no significant correlation between mycorrhizal structure types and life forms, colonization rates, neither root types of host plant. The plant largely controls the AM morphological structure type. 21 AMF species of 5 genera were identified including 5 uncertain species...
