The isothermal section of the phase diagram of the La-Fe-Sb ternary system at 773K has been investigated mainly by X-ray powder diffraction with the aid of metallographic analysis in this work. This isothermal section consists of twelve single-phase regions, twenty-three two-phase regions and twelve three-phase regions.The twelve single-phase regions are: α(La),β(La2Sb),(La5Sb3), δ(La4Sb3),η(LaSb),θ(LaSb2),κ(Sb),λ(FeSb2),ε(FeSb),μ (Fe) ν (Fe4LaSb12) and N (Fe2LaSb2)。The twenty-three two-phase regions are: α+β,β+γ,γ+δ,δ+η,η+θ, θ+κ,κ+λ, λ+ε,ε+μ,μ+α,μ+β,μ+γ,μ+δ,μ+η,N+η,μ+N,N+θ, N+ε,ε+θ,ε+ν,v+θ,λ+ν and κ+ν。The twelve three-phase regions are: α+β+μ,β+γ+μ,γ+δ+μ ,δ+η+μ, μ+η+N,η+θ+N,ε+μ+N,ε+θ+N,ε+θ+ν,ν+θ+κ,κ+λ+ν and λ+ε+ν。According to the results of experiment, A solid soluble region of...
