The Research Of Land Resources Information Service System Based On WebGIS

With the rapid development of information technology, especially, with the development of Geographic Information System(GIS), network, database etc., more and more people take into account releasing information on web. GIS was developed to WebGIS from Desktop to Web, from called"closed"system to OpenGIS. Currently, it is an important problem how to make good use of the abundant information of land resources to serve the department of land resources and the public.In order to solve this problem, based on the research of geographic information service, this article discusses the concept of land resources information service. Namely, it is the theory of geographic information service and technology system which base the development of GIS, computer network, network technology suck as operating Web Services and grid technology. It is used to serve land resources information to users. Under this frame, the paper discusses the theory of land resources information service and how to design and develop the system. The main content includes three parts:Firstly, the paper analyses two modes of geographic information service: the mode of geographic information service based B/S and the mode of geographic information service based Web Services. This paper would focus on the research GIS Web Services framework that conforms to OGC.Secondly, the paper brings up the hierarchical model of land resources information service system construction. The model includes the hierarchy of data sharing, the hierarchy of land resources information service and the hierarchy of decision support. The structure of land resources information service system is introduced in logic model. At the same time, the paper discusses the factor that influences the construction of land resources information system.Thirdly, land resources information service system is divided into land information decision support system, land information publishing system, land information query system and land information multimedia demonstration. Then the paper proposes their valid solutions. At last, the author develops land resources information prototype system with ArcIMS. The system provides the service of land resources cooperative process and thematic maps making and publishing.
