This article first analyzes the several main factors causing the telescope pointing errors in Satellite Laser Ranging telescope of Changchun Observatory in detail, discusses the methods to correct these errors by setting up the telescope pointing error model, and selects the mount model as the method to be used. Then, it introduces the calculation results of the telescope pointing error model parameters by the MATLAB language program through the way of observing the stars dependence on the fine prediction of the stars by CCD. Last, after finishing the measurements and correction of the telescope collimation error and encoder offset, the correction model is applied to the telescope tracking control program to correct the telescope pointing errors. The precision can be reached to about 4 after correction, and this can satisfy with daylight tracking. This article also introduces the Basic Parameters Model and Spherical Harmonics Model, and compares the three models. Through the comparison, it can be found that that Basic Parameters Model has good stability but low precision and Spherical Harmonics Model has high precision but poor stability, and the Mount Model has good stability and high precision. So there will be good results after application of mount model in practical use.
