The β level identification, classification of six endophytic fungi isolated from Taxus cuspidate Sieb et Zucc. grown in Changbai nature reserve were systematically studied with morphological methods including: characteristics observation and description, during culture, under microscope, literature retrieving and comparison with related genus or type species .One new species:Phomopsis longiscoleospora Y. Xiang et Lu An Guo, Wu Wen Fang sp.nov. (1015) , four new recorded-genus in China: Botryodema lateritium Papendoorf & Upadhyay (1002) ,Beniowskia sphaeroidea (Kal Chbrenner et Cooke)Mason ] (1004), Staphylotrichum coccosporum Meyer et Nicot (1012) ,Thermomyces verrucosus Pugh, Blakeman & Morgan-jones (1025), and one new recorded-species in china: Cytosporina notha Died (1006). The six strains are all of Deuteromycotina, and are of Hyphomycetes and Coelomycetes respectively. The identification of these strains gives the theory of the further research of endophytic fungi, and the discoveries of those new species make up the margin of our country in the genus above-mentioned.In addition, physiological characteristic experiments of Strain 1015, 1002,1006 and 1025 were studied, including culture temperatures, pH curves, varies of kinds and concentrations of carbohydrate and nitrogenous nutrition, varies of concentration of medium, some vitamins usually used in fungi culture, etc..
