The traditional structure optimization methods are based mainly on the static strength of structures. By taking into account the influence of dynamic characteristics and response, the dynamic optimization methods has been the latest development in the fields of structure optimization. However the vast calculation stemming from dynamical FEM analysis handicapped its application, especially to the large or complex optimization problems.Considering the simplex method -simulated annealing algorithm hard to jump out of the local valley under the low system temperature, a scheme which rises temperature monotonously is employed to help the algorithm to reach the global optimization. By replacing the simplex method with the complex method to make the algorithm do for nonlinear occasions, the new algorithm of complex method-simulated annealing with the scheme of monotonous temperature rise is present. The absorbed energy by structure is adopted as the objective function, and it is a trial in the filed of building structure dynamic optimization. The total structure weight and cost can also be treated as objective function. The FEM was adopted to calculate the dynamic response, and the constraint conditions are chose according to 'Code for design of concrete structures GB 50010-2002' and 'Code for seismic design of buildings GB 50011-2001'.
