Real-time Acquisition And Visualization Modeling Of Three-dimensional Spatial Data

As an important representation of spatial information digitization, 3-dimensional spatial data is used increasingly on the spatial information science of the earth, the industry, the traffic, the communication and protects of cultural relics. Spatial data field acquired way may be classified as point-mode and face-mode. The former indicates to acquire the object's spatial coordinates and attributes by the common geodesy ways, for instance astro-geodesy, total station, GPS and laser scanning as a new way. The latter indicates to acquire object's image record by photogrammetry and remote sensing, and then distills geometrical and physical characteristic. After acquisition, we need make data processing, for example ridding noises, unifying coordinate system, creating model and analyzing it.In this paper, we study the technologies of acquiring real-time 3-dimensional spatial data and modeling visually enclosing laser scanning. We first summarize the means of acquiring 3-dimensional spatial data in the field of surveying and mapping and their principles. Then, we emphasize the principle of laser telemeter, the actuality, the principle, the design of laser scanning and the processing to cloud of points. When making model for 3-dimensional spatial data, this paper chooses TIN and NURBS as research objects. This paper researches and tries coordinates transformation, serial port communication, database and LOD, which are needed when acquiring real-time 3-dimensional spatial data and disposing it. Finally the software designing scheme of acquiring real-time 3-dimensional spatial data and modeling visually is given and tried.
