At present, GIS application in the environmental protection domain arouses more and more attention, the integration of GIS and the environmental application model is one of main directions in GIS application.This paper is based on the atmospheric impact evaluation request of the Qinbei power station in Jiyuan, deeply discusses the integration between atmospheric point source dispersion model and GIS, and puts forward the effective solution; Further, we give an application example, simulate and evaluate the consistence dispersion of atmospheric pollution.First, this paper analyzes and discusses the advantage and the shortage of the integration between GIS and environment application model, from the necessity of integration and some integration methods at present, and then puts forward the new strategy, which can implement the integration of the component, Model Base technology and environment application model.This paper discusses the model establishment, the methods and process of integration realization, as well as the visualization expression in detail. We take SO2 and NO2 as the main pollution gas, and establish model, and simulate consistence dispersion, according as the example of QinBei power station. Considering the influence of wind direction, wind speed, atmospheric dispersion parameter, chimney height and others factors, We use MATLAB technology to calculate dispersion consistence at some time, daily average and annual, and to simulate forecast chart about SO2 and NO2 in different instance, when the chimney height is 210m of the design height and 240m of the evaluation height; We can integrate the professional model in GIS by the integration interface between VB and MATLAB; and implement the visualization expression of atmospheric pollution dispersion model in map by MapX technology. This integration preferably solves some difficult problems such as the low model calculation efficiency, the low model result visualization degree and the difficult connection with spatial data etc.Finally, according as the methods of atmospheric impact evaluation and the correlation theory, we analyze the consistence data that are calculated in 210m height, and get the conclusion that SO2 and NO2 is not impacting on atmospheric environment. The design height 210m is feasible, which not only satisfy requirement emission standard, but also save funds.In brief, the research results of this paper bring forward a new method in solving the forecasting and evaluating the atmosphere environment impact, so it has fairly practicality.
