Thermal physical technology is very important for synthesizing nanoparticles especially for metal and alloy nanoparticles, because it has simple principle, suits many materials and produces nanoparticles with high purity and activity. This paper expounds the features, applicatins of metal nano-sized materials and the preparation of powdery metal nanometer materials, looks ahead the developing prospect of metal nanometer materials connecting the techniques and achievements in the most forward position of the preparation and research of metal nanometer materials. With the principle of synthesizing nanoparticles by high frequency induction heating technique and based on the equipment we have, wo chosed Zn, Bi, Sn, In and alloy of Sn and In to do the technological experiments.In conclusion, the technology of synthesizing nanoparticles by high frequency induction heating technique is simple, energy saving and easy to produce a batch of metal nanoparticles in lab.
