In order to well-understand key change of metabolism of Ce4+-induced apoptosis of cultured Taxus cuspidata cells and increase of Taxol biosynthesization, we investigated metabolomics to find bio-markers, analysed by GC/MS and LC/MS. Based on those results, the mechanism of apoptosis and increase of Taxol biosynthesization induced by Ce4+ was further analyzed and imagined. From the work above we gained some valuable results.1. Constitute the GC/MS analysis method of cultured Taxus cuspidata undergoing apoptosis induced by Ce4+, and the result is analysed by MarkerLynx, there are 234 potential metabolites in both kinds samples and 82 metabolites are important for classifying. In those 82 substances, there are 40 metabolites identified structures by NIST library, in which C10H15O2Si and C14H32O5Si3 are associated with taxol biosynthetic.2. Constitute the LC/MS analysis method of cultured Taxus cuspidata undergoing apoptosis induced by Ce4+, and the result is analysed by MZmine. After filtered and peak picked by MZmine, there are 372 potential metabolites in both kinds samples. After PCA analysed by MatLab bio-markers are found which connect with apoptosis and Taxol biosynthesization increasing induced by Ce4+.
