The study of low-temperature geothermal movement rules in aquifer has already made a considerable progress. The proposition of porous media theory and dual medium theory, as well as the constantly improvement of 3D flow equation and advection - dispersion equation further perfect the aquifer storage model. The use of mathematical algorithm such as Finite Element Method and Finite Difference, together with the constantly improvement of computer operating speed make it more rapid and accurate to solve these models. The progress of theory and innovation of algorithm can't be achieved without basic experimentation. Carry on the study of low-temperature geothermal is also quite important.This paper, firstly, summarized the development status of mathematics model,physical simulation experiment,field experiment and software of groundwater and problems and shortage in these sectors。Then introduced the field experiment that implemented in Tianjin Huatai agricultural park—a sector of National Science Foundation item—study of pumping and injection of low temperature geothermal field. Later introduced in detail the National Nature Science Foundation-the design and implementation of large indoor simulation experiment in exploitation and recharge study of low-temperature geothermal field. The design of this large indoor simulation experiment is based on current low-temperature geothermal exploitation and recharge status. After aborative design and preparation, the experiment simulated several instances of low-temperature geothermal exploitation and recharge, such as single-well pumping in porous media, single-well pumping together with sing-well recharge, single-well pumping together with twin-well recharge etc, and acquired a wealth of data.Three different kinds of experiments have been made in study progress. Single well pumping experiment went on 1.5 hours and the hydraulic pressure movement of every observation points has been recorded too. HG1 well injection experiment went on 1.5 hours and the hydraulic pressure and temperature movement of every observation points has been recorded too. HG1 well and HG2 well both injection experiment went on 1.5 hours and the hydraulic pressure and temperature movement of every observation points has been recorded too. All of the scientific design,aborative preparation and implementation, Guaranteed that the data were accurate and reliable. This experiment is very meaningful for further improving the geothermal storage model, reasonable using geothermal energy.Computer simulation technology made great progress in last few years. Computer simulation could simulate different kinds of groundwater movement precisely. MODFLOW was introduced in this paper and MODFLOW was used in simulation. Simulation result was exact.
