Landslide is a kind of geologic hazard which is usually seen in our country. Potential landslide which appears in city area usually threats greatly economic development of city and personal safety of residents. So it is very important for ensuring landslide's long-time stability to study on stability analysis and governance of landslide.Combining with landslide control in Jin yang city and basing on lots of document and data at home and aboard, this paper explains and analyzes fully characteristics of deposit landslide which is usually seen in engineering constructions. The author describes detailedly area characters that formats deposit landslide possibly and old landslide-mass' characters, at the same time, and analyzes causes of formation, types and structural characteristics of deposit landslide, and summarizes main factorsinfluencing stability of landslide and judgemental methods.Combining theory with practice, and by analyzing and collating weather, hydrological data and environmental information of research area, this paper detects structural features of landslide area, constructs stratigraphic sequence of field, and analyzes formation causes of Jin yang. It provides supports for estimating existence, scale and stability. For judging specifically stability of landslide in research area, this paper uses engineering analogy and limit analysis method to comprehensively evaluate stability of research area. These mechanical parameters such as cohesion and internal friction angle that are used in calculation are got from test, engineering geology analogy and inversion analysis method. By calculating stability in different operating condition and analyzing macrocoscopically deformation of landslide, the trend of development and harmfulness of landslide clot are forecasted. Considering the scale of landslide too large, and repairing cosmically needs lots of money. This paper proposes effective protective measures to avoid hidden dangers of landslide by controlling main factors of landslide.
