Human activity on biodiversity has become a hot topic in many international and multidisciplinary research projects. Biodiversity in Loess Plateau of China has experienced tremendous changes due to human activity. In this thesis, Qingshuigou watershed in Jinning County of Loess Plateau has been chosen as study area. Species and quantity of species in study area have been investigated by field work method (Line transects method and Sample method) and participatory rural appraisement (PRA) method. Based on the investigation, changes in species and quantity of species have been inquired by questionnaires, and PRA method has been used to analyst the reasons resulted to changes. We found main that causes of the changes induced by human activity, and discussed how human activity influenced the watershed biodiversity. in the end, suggestions for conservation the little watershed biodiversity have been put forward. The research results and conclusion were summarized as follows:1) Total of birds in the watershed less than that in 70's, some birds species have disappeared, some birds quantity have experienced fluctuant changes. Middle and large mammals were extinct in local. Species of small mammals is steady, but change of quantity is very complicated.2) Human activity resulted in change of animal is including: Land use scale, land use type, land use construction, production method, and introduction nonnative species, beside of these, local culture is bringing subtle influence on the biodiversity.3) Total amount of plant species in the watershed has sharp increase in past ten years, but changes of plant's species are various, Species of tree is increase, but quantity increased of different species is not same. Shrub species is increase both in species and quantity. Many cash plants were introduced and nonnative cash plants are dominant. The acreage of cash forests increased very quickly.4) Human activity result in change of animal including: government police, economic effect, architectural material change, introduction nonnative species,...
