The Peng 3 member gas reservoir of Majing gas field is a combination trap of Structure-lithological character in the background of anticline structures, and it is consisted of five gas-bearing sandbodies and three industry gas layers. The Penglaizhen reservoir belongs to the type of elastic gas reservoir drived by gas as it has good closure, While it mainly produces high quality gas, low content condensate oil and very few residual formation water. The reservoir belongs to sub-facies sedimentary model of deltaic front, the underwater distributary channel and mouth bar are the favorable sedimentary microfacies; so its reservoir quality is related to the type of the sedimentary microfacies. The pore types of the reservoir rock are mostly intergranular pore, intergranular solution hole and few intercrystalline micropore; the influential factors of pore structure, and the reservoir quality are lithofacies, lithologic character and diagnosis; The combination of the reservoir are mainly small-pore and micro-throats, few middle-pore and small-throats combination as well as micro-pore and micro-throats combination. The JP2 member of Majing gas pool is belonged to the conventional and approximate compact reservoir, while it has average-low porosity and permeability; The sand body has very big distributional area, and it's mainly concentrated at the west and southwest of the structure; as the reservoir bed has strong heterogeneity and discrepancy, so the gassy distinction in the same sand bgdy is very large.The point of this article is evaluating the geographical character of Peng 3 member gas reservoir in Majing gas field, describing the sedimentary microfacies and the reservoir characters by using the conventional reservoir description techniques, then analyzing the gassy discrimination of the reservoir, by considering the exploiting dynamic character and the character of earthly physical respondence, and using the method of considering some seismic factors to forecast and evaluate the favorable concentrational area.
