A Research On Land-use Information System Based On GIS

The key job of land resource management is managing the land-use data scientifically and dynamically by informatization and digital. The land-using information involves massive files and graphic materials, so it has many kinds and the data is non- standardization. At present, there are many problems in land management in china. For example, it is easy to make mistakes and low efficiency etc. It is urgent to reform the old method of land management through introduce the new technology. I attempt. This article attempts in this aspects to introduce the GIS to the field of land-use management. The goal is to improve the efficiency of the management of land-using data, and solve the problems in managing land-using data. To start from the application and the progress of GIS in the land-using management, this article explores the combined pattern between GIS and the management of land-using data. At this foundation, I develop a suit of practical land-using information system, then I improvE the concept of land-using information system which is based GIS further more.This article introduces briefly the basic concept of GIS, and focusses on the COM,COM GIS, MapObject as well as the ArcSDE technology. According to the present land-using data of Kuancheng district in Changchun,I use tools of visual development,then I designe and develope a land-using information system in Kuancheng district which is based on function of displaying, processing and analyzing space data provided by MapObject platform. The system uses SQL Server which manages attribute datas, takes VisualBasic6.0 as the tool of integration development ,and inserts MapObject.The system achieves function of space data displaying,inquiry, statistical analysis and outputing charts of land-using information in Kuancheng district . The system is universal, transplantable, secure and extensible and the interface is very amicable,so users can easily and conveniently use this system.The development and application of the system is valuable to management of the land-using information data in Kuancheng district, and it is also a model significance to management of land-using information in other areas.
