The Preparation Of Monoclonal Antibody Against Angiogenin And Its Application In Western Blot

Angiogenin was originally isolated as a tumor angiogenic factor based solely on its angiogenic activity.It has been shown to paly an important role in angiogenesis. Angiogenin is the soler factor which has ribonuclease activity in all the angiogenesis factors ,and it belongs to the ribonuclease superfamily.The study about angiogenin inducing angiogenesis and interactions between angiogenin and other angiogenic factors is a topic of tumor angiogenesis. In this study angiogenin was expressed and purified and monoclonal antibody against angiogenin was prepared in order to supply for the requirement of research.Purified angiogenin and two strains of monoclonal antibody against angiogenin which was determined successfully were obtained in the study.Then the monoclonal antibody was applied in Western Blot, in which an obvious band was observed clearly.It proved that the monoclonal antibody prepared in our lab could be used in experiment research.
