The purpose of this paper was to study the kinetic process of hemoglobin (Hb) carrying and releasing oxygen. In standard conditions (pH 7.4; PO2, 20mm Hg; temperature, 20℃) the blood samples of four experimental animals were equilibrated in blood gas analyzer, with calibrated gas mixtures A (0%oxygen, 0.5% carbon dioxide and 99.5% nitrogen). Then the blood samples had been exposed to the gas mixtures B (21%oxygen, 0.5% carbon dioxide and 78.5% nitrogen). After equilibration, blood samples had been exposed to the gas mixtures A once more. During the whole process, the PO2 of blood samples had been detected in real time. The spending time of PO2 of the blood samples changing between 0kPa and 21kPa had been recorded carefully. On the basis of the experiment results, the curve of the kinetics of hemoglobin carrying oxygen presents the shape of"s", it was similar with the Hemoglobin-oxygen Dissociation Curve (Hb ODC). T50, a new kinetic parameter of this curve, had been established. T50 is the time of saturation of Hb rising from 0% to 50%. It can reflect the efficiency of Hb carrying oxygen. The experiments results showed that four species animal had steady T50 data separately and the relationships of their T50 are: Frog
