Tangshan coastal area is an important part of Tangshan city, with the development of society, the groundwater of Tangshan coastal area has been over exploited for a long-time and the hazard of land subsidence appeared and aggravated. By studying the hydrogeology and engineering geology condition of Tangshan coastal area, a new understanding of deformation mechanism of land subsidence in Tangshan coastal area has been found. According to the distribution of GF(groundwater funnel) and monitor data of groundwater in Tangshan coastal area, Firstly, the mathematical model of development tendency of GF is established and verify the result which is similar with the real result. Then the conception of GDC(groundwater dynamics coefficient ) has been introduced and establish the development tendency model of groundwater level. Finally, on the base of above results, mathematical model of land subsidence in Tangshan coastal area has been established and the simulant result is similar with the real result. On the basis of model of land subsidence , the accumulative of subsidence in coastal area of Tangshan can be forecasted. Under the current exploitation situation , in Tanghai, Nanpu, CaoZhuangzi of Laoting, Ninghe ,The accumulative of subsidence are: 1889.50 mm,1557.00 mm,800.83 mm,2127.54 mm in 2010, and the accumulative of subsidence are:1905.43 mm,1917.50 mm,839.35 mm,2385.97 mm in 2015.By analyzing the forecast data of land subsidence, this paper study the tendency of land subsidence hazard and the relation between the requirement and the accommodate of groundwater, then optimal project of the groundwater exploitation and the groundwater compensate are provided on coastal areas of Tangshan in 2010. According to special condition of Tangshan coastal area, the reasonable countermeasure of prevention are established.
