Being supported by the geographical information system, this paper choose theETM+ data from landsat-7 and Quick Bird data as data source. After a series of imageprocessing, we can extract the information of land-use type from ETM+ data withERDAS.Combine the production of "Geologic hazard detailed survey project of Xinpingcounty in Yunnan province" which is a pilot project of China Geological Survey, thenafter the sensibility calculation, we educe that the sensitivity coefficient of industrialand mining site is the highest, which most easily cause the hazard, the second one isresided site and public road, and the last one is garden plot and woodland.Ultimately, we use the Quick Bird data of Gasa town to explain the location ofgeologic hazard sensitive area, the land utilization, and the land rehabilitation of theland which was destroyed by hazard. The paper principally choose the typical largercoast of Nan'en Hope Primary School, and bring forward detailed measure of landrehabilitation, then establish a exploit model to land which was destroyed by hazard,and all of these measures are worth popularizing in Xinping county.From the above mentioned, we can get a conclusion that there is a tight relationbetween geological hazard and land use, the ill land use type can cause the geologicalhazard, geological hazard can destroy the land, and a logical land use type is the mostprimary factor to prevent and cure the geological hazard.
