China is a country where the landslide is widely distributed. There are many anddifferent kinds of landslide, and they always threat human life, propriety and theconstruction work. The buildings which have fracture and deformation can be easily found inNanyang Bian landslide area. The phenomenon of out of shape is seen everywhere. The reason is that the groundwater level is too high, thus resulting in the unevensettlement foundation of the middle part of the slope, and the foreordained affinityslope loses its stability under the influence of torrential rain and river locationfluctuations, This text, classifies the reasons of various fractures, focusing on thecharacteristics of this landslide and starting with investigating the crack and changingof the buildings on this landslide. The fractures are sorted out into tow classes: thefractures caused by landslide and the fractures caused by uneven settlement infoundation. Based on this, we can distinguish the landslide area and the non—landslide area.According to the result of formation mechanism analysis, this paper tries tocalculate the stability in the sliding area. In terms of ration, it will cut down the rangeof landslide area, direct against the section with bad stability, then calculate thestability and thrust to calculation by limit equilibrium methods. After comparing andselecting, this text choose to deal with Nanyang Bian landslide through a scheme ofapproaches, such as anti-slide pile, polling board wall, the drainage engineering, andthe grouting ,etc. This text has made helpful exploration in analyzing the method to manage thiskind of landslide with the example ofNanyang Bian landslide.
