The author researched the ecological breeding of Ficedula zanthopypia utilizing the method of man-made nest box to induce in Zuo jia natural reserve(44°1′--44°6′,126°--126°1′E) of jilin Province from April to July in 2006. The research includes the breeding time and the breeding success of the stirps of Ficedula zanthopypia, nestling's growing. The result shows: Ficedula zanthopypia induced by man-made method can have 21 nests, 16 nests can breed successfully, the breeding success can reach 86%, the stirps of Ficedula zanthopypia's breeding time lasts 61 days from May 5 to July 6, the quantity of eggs is 6.16±1.16(n=19), the hatch cycle lasts 13.05±0.97day﹙n=19﹚, brooding cycle lasts 13.0 day. The weight of nestling and the growing of all the organs corresponds"S"curve, the growing model of weight is W=12.22/(1+e)-0.58(t-3.72)j .
