The inductolog is the basic logging method to study the reservoir electricity properties. With the development of exploration and development, the normal dual inductive-8 lateral logging method is apparently limited for the evaluation of high-resistivity, thin and water-flooded and low permeable oil-bearing beds in the later development stage. Therefore, the high-frequency iso-parameter inductolog (ВИКИЗ) is imported. It can acquire 5 resistivity curves concerning the depth and frequency, and may therefore study the spatial distribution of resistivity more detailed and accurate. The application of high-frequency inductolog may resolve the problems including the recognization of thin beds, evaluation of fluid type in the reservoir, ascertaining the water-flooding, discriminating the permeability capacity, and moreover, calculation of the real and invaded zone resistivity and the invaded radius through the quick stacking inversion on 5 resistivity curves, so as to ascertain the pollution of reservoir due to the drilling mud, optimize the perforation parameters, and ultimately enhance the producing capacity. The high-frequency inductolog may provide more geological information, and resolved many geological problems existed in the normal inductolog. Herein, the high-frequency is studied with respect of mechanism, advantage analysis, interpretation method and application on the study of real and invaded zone resistivity and the invaded radius, and presented the case study in the Shengli oil field.
