The vertical resolution of seismic signal means the minimum timedifference or folium thickness differentiated by peak power of seismicwavelets. The wavelets, coming from the man-made hypocenter, interfer andoverlap after reflecting from different stratums. The resolution dependson frequency width of seismic signal. The frequency width wider, theresolution higher. So, the key is to broaden frequency width or made upthe high-frequency loss to enhancing resolution of seismic signal,because the energy dissipation of high-frequency wave components withthe seismic signal propagation. Enhancing resolution of seismic signalis one of main tasks for seismic signal processing.Deconvolution, as a signal recovery technology, is an effecive wayof enhancing vertical resolution of seismic signal. All the kinds ofdeconvolution algorithms can get good effect only within special fieldswith unavoidable disadvantages. It is one of trends for seismical signalprocessing that using vertical seismical profile and ground seismic datastogether for enhancing resolution, because of VSP obtain much morehigh-frequency information.The thesis includes the following key points: study on thesignification and influence factors of vertical resolution, theknowledge about digital signal processing, liking FFT algorithms andHibert transform, and deconvolution and VSP's principle and normalprocessing way. Deconvolution for high-resolution of seismic signal isone of important parts in the paper. After study of the seismic signalmodel and deconvolution principle, classical deconvolution algorithmsare analyzed detaily. Through processing real seismic datas with thesealgorithms, the different effects of them are researched. Lastly, studyon a new way for high resolution, which using vertical seismic profilesand ground seismical data together. After introduction of reason and disadvantages of old way, dip-moveout correction of VSP datas andprinciple of the new way are put on emphasis. After experiment of realseismic datas, it is proved an effective way.
