Deformation monitoring means using special method of deformation analyzing to process the data which comes from measuring equipment to ascertain the spatial status and time feature of the deformation object, analyze and predict the deformation trend of the deformation object. With the development of the science technology, new techniques like GPS and Georobot are used in deformation monitoring. To satisfy the requirement of real time attribute,continuity,high efficiency and automation, we need to combine GIS and deformation monitoring to implement automated collection and management of the deformation data, include analyzing and predicting. The paper analyzing and researching the method and application of deformation monitoring,deformation analyzing, implement remote monitoring. It includes the following contents:1. Analyzing the present situation and trend of the deformation monitoring techniques. Real time,continuous,high efficiency,automated and dynamic will be the trend of the monitoring system, and real time remote monitoring will be necessary in danger area. 2. Use GPS and Georobot to monitoring the deformation area, discussing the quality assessment standards,requirements of the deformation monitoring net. Use GeoMoS and Spider to manage the monitoring data.3. Disscussing the basic modeling theory and method of deformation analyzing, like regression analysis, Kalman filtering and time series analysis, and analyzing the deformation data use time series analysis, predict the deformation trend, and checked the fitting results using deformation data.4. Build the remote deformation monitoring system. Implement the basic GIS function like display,zoom in,zoom out and translation of the monitoring point graph in Java programming language. Real time and remote management of deformation monitoring database are implemented in ASP. Dynamic display of deformation monitoring chart are implemented use HskyXChart.
