KIMPE copper-cobalt deposit is located in the southeast of Katanga province curved copper cobalt mineralization. The metallogenic belt which located in the southeast of Congo (Kinshasa) is located in the central part of Africa's largest copper belt that Zambia -Congo (Kinshasa) copper belt, has a good geological condition and the geological background. Through the exploration work in KIMPE mining area, we grasped the first-hand geological data, and carried on the summary and the research to the deposit geological characteristics and mineralization rule. This article proposes the type for the deposit is sedimentary and hydrothermal copper-cobalt deposit. The process consists of three stages of mineralization. When R2 strata of Katanga group ancient profession begin to deposit, the dolomite containing more Cu, Co elements is the first enrichment of Cu, Co elements. Late Proterozoic or after a tectonic movement period, the formation of Cu, Co elements activation occurred with the relocation of the fault zone of hydrothermal sulfide formed in the quartz vein type copper cobalt deposit, which is the second enrichment of Cu, Co elements. Quaternary weathering causes the Cu, Co elements in the form of oxidation mine to deposit in the weathering crust of modern surface oxidation zone and constitute the rich ore body. This is the third enrichment of Cu, Co elements. Ore-controlling factors for the stratum, the fracture and the crust of weathering crust. Established the three-dimensional model of ore mines applying the computer technology, and carried on the three-dimensional mineralization forecast and quantitative estimation to the edge and deep resources. This article has the vital significance about the deposit characteristic understanding and three mineralization forecast result to this mining area next step of prospecting work. This article proposed the three dimensional mineralization forecast methods, possibly develops into a new method about edge and deep resources potential appraisal in old mine.
