The stability of high rock slope in mining area is studied in this thesis. With the slope in Dahuichang quarry in Fengtai District in Beijing, conditions of land form, hydrological geology, stratum layer and geological structure are analyzed based on the old achievement. The basic parameters and cross sections are determined. The stability factors in natural situation and storm situation are calculated. The research achievements are as following.The main broken forms of the slope are slide, wedge slip, creeping crack and bedding slip. The material component, structure character, water permeability and space variation of the slope are settled by the field surveying. The physics and mechanics parameters are obtained by the experiments. The influence of each factors is analyzed. Ultimately, the strain and stability of three typical cross sections in Dahuichang slope are deeply analyzed with Sarma method and FLAC2D numerical simulation method. The broken reasons are studied from aspects of collapsing mechanics and influence factors. The stability of Dahuichang slope is objectively analyzed in this thesis.The research of this thesis can be a reference of other similar slopes.
