Based on the standard sample, 24 jadeite jades are sorted in descending order according to the rank of color, which is in compliance with human vision capability. It is applicable to use color scale in the grading of color of jadeite jades.With comparative analysis, jadeite jades under different light sources are varied, and different lights have impact on the color of jadeite jades. High-grade jadeite jades should use light source A, because it can enhance the color green. Standards light source D65 and A match perfectly with top-class Laokeng glassy jadeite jades with emerald color. At the same time same color with different color spectrums might have slight impact on the value of jadeite jades, and it can be introduced to the grading system as a supplementary tool.The green color quantification meets the market needs, and methods provided by this paper will certainly serve the market. China, the world's largest Jadeite Jade market has strongly growing demand. However, due to the inconsistency of the Jadeite Jade evaluation system, consumers are reluctant to purchase, which leads to the weak sales of high-class Jadeite Jades. The green colour quantification which is based on the market can promote the healthy development of the Jadeite Jade market.
