In this paper, taking carbonate sequence stratigraphy,petroleum geology theroy,sedimentology theory and method,reservoir geology and logging as a guidance, taking carbonate sequence as a basis and reservoir as a primary key, it studys in detail about the sequence and reservoir by taking the full advantage of the files about core,well drilling,logging and testing etc in Triassic Jialingjiang Formation in He jiang area of south Sichuan Basin.First of all, two third -order sequences,six fourth -order sequences and fifteen fifth-order sequences have been recognized about Jialingjiang Formation in Hejiang Area through the tracing contrast of the correlation lithologic section and log curves. It is the first time to establish the frame of the third -order sequence and high- frequency sequence. It is indicated that the stable tectonic activity,the difference of regional palaeo-relief,the relative arid climate, the different supply rate of sediment, and eustatic change of sea control the formation and evolution of sequence of Jialingjiang Formation.The isochronal unit by sequence tract properly reveals the distribution disciplinarian of the sediment facies belt and points out that the development of the bank is the successive and restricted platform which is widely developed in HST. Based on the development and distribution of the relative facies belts and favorable facies belts in the light of the isochronal unit of the fifth sequence, it is concluded that the sedimentary model of the development of reservoir in sequence frame.In the light of observing the core, identification of thin section and cast thin section and the data of geochemistry, it illuminates some types of diagenesis, such as cementation, dolomitization, denudation, gypsification, cataclasis and so on. It is considered that it undergoes four diagenetic evolutive sequences, they are syngenesis, early diagenesis, epigenesis and tectonic period, then the formation model and controlling factors are established, and penecontemporaneous denudation of meteorological water and fractures by tectonic are the main controlling factors, while dolomitization does not definitively influence on the formation of reservoir.Vertically, the development of reservoir is controlled by third -order sequence and high-frequency sequence after typical well's sequences and reservoir analysis. They primary develop in HST, a few may develop in TST; and its form primary is controlled by fifth-order sequence, and has different models in arid and wet climate . while makes reservoir develop into different parts in the fifth-sequences. Flatly, bank dissolved reservoir's continuity is commonly, and represent forms is primary flaser; confined mesa dissolved reservoir is better than bank dissolved reservoir, and confined mesa reservoir distribution is isolated and continuity worse in flatly; fractured reservoir's development isn't law. It knows that the reservoir is controlled by sedimentation and diagenesis.Reservoir porosity and permeability have the characteristic of low porosity and permeability and tiny throat. By researching the relationship among reservoir development, prosity,permeability and reservoir thickness, that porosity,permeability and reservoir thickness are connected with reservoir cause. Reservoir quality's controlled model of rock type,sedimentary facies,tectonic and sequence have been set up in the study region.Then taking a key high-frequency sequence as a unit, by integrated research of drilling's porosity and permeability,log reservoir parameter result,product ability of natural gas and isoline map of reservoir quality is predicted and evaluated. It draws a conclusion that four reservoirs's quality have some differences in vertically and flatly. Finally, reservoirs are divided into three kinds. I Kind is good reservoir. It primary develops in the area of er 4 well,er 16 well,er 30 well,he27-he 7 well,he 13-he26~he 001-1 well.
