This paper firstly reviews the development of seismic attribution, discusses its physical basis and corresponding algorithms in details, and then makes an analysis on various methods and factors affecting prediction effect. Based on the research of seismic attribution theory, the study is applied in the reservoir research for Anpeng deep series of strata.As a small-sized faulted basin in Meso-Cenozoic period, Biyang depression lying in the east of China is enriched in hydrocarbon. With the development of rolling exploration technique in recent years, subtle traps dominated by lithologic stratigraphic oil and gas reservoirs are continuously discovered, but there hasn't found any progress in subtle traps exploration of southern deep depression.Owing to poor reservoir physical property, big lateral variation of facies belts plus poor attribution of previous seismic data and the multiplicity of reservoir prediction results, the success rate of subtle reservoir exploration drilling in deep series of strata is very low.With the improvement of seismic data quality and continuous enrichment of geological information, especially by adopting reasonable research route and method different from previous ones in reservoir lateral prediction, the understanding of basic petroleum geological characteristics and analysis of seismic-geologic conditions are deepened.Through the application of effective multiple suppression of seismic data, refined reservoir calibration, 3-D velocity analytical method, visualized interpretation method, multi well constrained inversion, multiple attribute analysis technique and hydrocarbon prediction technique, in combination with reservoir characteristics, the interactive analysis between natural gamma data volume and seismic attribution data volume, the geophysical characteristics of favorable oil-bearing reservoirs in deep series of strata are quantitatively determined. Therefore, the description and prediction on oil-bearing reservoirs are finally carried out. The actual drilling results confirm the accuracy of prediction and achieve great geologic effects.In this subject research, the key techniques studied and applied are as the follows:1. The study on basic petroleum geologic characteristic in Anpeng deep series of strata and analysis on basic seismic geologic conditions in the research of reservoir attribution.2. The determination of reasonable research route and method.3. By adopting the effective multiple suppression of seismic data in deep series to improve the quality of seismic section.4. By using amplitude visualization analytical technique, the distribution profile of amplitude on the plane is analyzed; in combination of geologic sedimentary facies regularity, the change regularity of amplitude in three-dimensional space is analyzed to infer the distribution of sand group.5. The analysis and solution of log-constrained wave impedance inversion precision.6. By using logging data and the semi-qualitative of interactive analysis of seismic data volume to determine the attribution features of hydrocarbon-bearing sand body, which provides basis and condition for accurate hydrocarbon prediction.
