With rapid development of national economy in recent years, the privation of mineral resources has been acted as a restriction for the continuous development. Therefore, the prospecting has become the key point, which brings a golden chance for geophysical methods, among which the gravity-magnetic method is widely used for its advantages such as low cost, rapid performance, and high efficiency.Data processing is an important step in the gravity-magnetic exploration. In this, it is important to separate regional and local field, because this is the base of inversion explanation. In fact, the observations are usually composed of various anomalies which contain much valuable information from geologic body. If we can distinguish the anomalies from each other, we will be able to figure out some geological results. However, the problem is so hard that it has not been well solved until now. And the purpose of this thesis is to study the methods deeply and try to give some new improvements.Firstly, we introduce the basic mathematics of the gravity-magnetic theory, including the spheroid and circular cylinder formula. Next, we establish several models to suit different geological body. Finally, we compare different methods of separating the different anomalies, and carry out one method which can optimally separate regional and local field. The mainly achievements are as follows:1. We have established models in MFC visualization procedure.2. By analysis of various methods, we summarize the characteristics and usability of them.3. We deeply investigate the interpolating cut methods & the regularizing filter, and realize them by VC++ software.4. We succeed in improving the interpolating cut method. Due to the improvement, we can get higher precision, faster calculating speed and fewer distortions.
