To undergraduates of engineering, College Physics is a very important subject. For their teachers, university physics teaching is also a very worthy of study on the subject.By anglicizing domestic and foreign research results in College Physics and quantum mechanics teaching this paper has analyses domestic Situation, and found the shortcomings and deficiencies. Through the questionnaire, the paper surveyed the domestic three schools of different levels and professional students. Contrast with foreign universities teaching materials, teaching methods, student involvement and teaching methods, the paper made a number of improvements in domestic teaching and the status of the proposed measures.The focus on curriculum and teaching at the distribution, is teaching a college physics major and difficult problems. This paper proposes the use of network and a wide range of media and rational allocation of limited teaching time, to resolve these problems.In this paper, the Schr(o|¨)dinger equation teaching, as well as on the introduction of giant magneto resistance effect as the medium of instruction has done examples of specific ideas. Schr(o|¨)dinger equation of quantum mechanics as the basic equation, the introduction of two-state system as an example, can help students understand the basic principle, familiar with the Hilbert space, and Dirac and matrix symbols, such as in quantum mechanics is very important tool. GMR effect of the discovery, development, as an example, is very inspiring to the engineering. The paper on this issue was discussed.
