The Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation , on the south Sichuan , can be provided to investigate to explore area greatly, investigate to explore degree low, use this as a purpose layer to explore well to have 33 only, get industry spirit well is 18.Non- purpose layer the well also has more multifarious oil spirit a manifestation while drlling to meet that, explaining up the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation in this region have a certain potential, having to investigate to explore foreground more and vastly. Exploration practices in the Xujiahe Formation of the HeBaoChang have indicated that, reservoir have strong heterogeneity characteristic,oil-gas-water relation complications,gas-water distribution is free from a structure control, be have no united gas-water interface.In this study ,petroleum system has been applied to investigate petroleum generation of source rock and petroleum pool formation of this dePression,and the following main results have been obtained:1.source rock of Xujiahe Formation is mainly member 1th,member3th and member 5th of Xujiahe Formation. The style of organic is mainly consisted of II2 and III, which be in mature late period~High mature earlier period. The ability of generation oil or gas is stronger.2.Reservoir in member 2th,member 4th and member 6th of Xujiahe Formation produce gas and a little condensate. It is indication by gas-source correlation that gas mainly come from its Coal Hydrocarborn Source Rocks ,nature gas is of humic-type origimic matter.3. Make use of basin simulation technique,recovered eroded thickness and press thickness of each data. In this foundation top , we drew up palaeostructure map and Development History map of member 2th,member 4th of Xujiahe Formation .It is suggest that palaeostructure evolution of Xujiahe Formation have likeness and inherit.4.Make use of tectonothermal evolution and the paleotemperature scale, reconstruced the thermal history and burial history of source rocks. It is suggest that hydrocarbon generation and expulsion of source rock main occurrence in Late Jurassic- Cretaceous. Its petroleum accumulation period main occurrence in Late Jurassic and Late Cretaceous~Early Teriary .Physical property of Xujiahe Formation is mainly densify.Rsistance force of nature gas secondary migration is stronger,flotational process is tenuity, Driving force of migration is mainly gas expansion.on the basis of comprehensive research ,setting up accumulation pattern of Xujiahe Formation. Accumulation pattern of Xujiahe Formation is near-source box-type gas accumulation-forming model.
