Based on the fundamental equations of medium thickness cylindrical shells, this paper discusses the answers of medium thickness cylindrical shells' bending problem with different boundary conditions. The numerical results were given by combining with engineering practice. The displacement differential equations of medium thickness cylindrical shells' bending problem were obtained in this paper. By drawing displacement function, the displacement differential equations are transformed to one eighth-order differential equation and one second-order differential equation. The coordinates were nondimensionalized for calculation convenience. The exact solutions were gotten by considering fixed boundary condition and simple supported edge condition. The corresponding numerical results were given by procedures. This paper researches the influence of curb girder. The displacements of curb girder acting by edge force were obtained according to beam's displacement differential equations, and then it was changed to shells' coordinates. The connection condition between medium thickness cylindrical shell and curb girders was established by displacements' continuity. The answers of medium thickness cylindrical shells' bending problem with ribs were obtained by using this connection condition. The results of this paper are very important to enrich the displacement theory of medium thickness cylindrical shells and the practical application in engineering.
