With the development of fundamental construction, there are more and more obvious issues about slope stability involving highway, railway, water conservancy, municipal works and mines. The slope stability seems particularly outstanding especially in complicated geological conditions and harsh artificial or natural slope environment areas.Slope stability, as one of three classical soil mechanics issues, has achieved great development along with various new technology, new methods, new theories are applied in slope treatment. Based on systematic summary for certainty and uncertainty analysis method of slope stability as much as possible through querying large numbers of related literatures, this paper establish slope's uncertain analysis method based on Bishop slices method and implemented by MATLAB, then simulate the influence of the reliability index by soil parameter distribution, finally, draw some beneficial conclusions.Variation of soil parameter has great influence on reliability index. The distribution form of safety factor is standard normal distribution while soil parameter distribution is normal or lognormal distribution. From the perspective of engineering evaluation, the distribution form of soil parameter has no influence on reliability index. The evaluation results according to the three methods are different. Reliability analysis is a method that uncertain factors are dealt with random variable by statistical method. So reliability analysis can be closer to the real stability state of slope, be beneficial supplement of certainty analysis, provides the theoretical basis and visual calculation result for analyzing slope stability and designing slope engineering by experience.
