With the rapid development and progress of modern science and technology, the positioning and navigation system of GPS also continues to expand its scope of the application, while the accuracy of its demand is ever increasing. Precise Point Positioning of GPS is a hot issue of the current research in the field of GPS applications, and the key of Precise Point Positioning technology is lies on the error elimination of ionosphere and troposphere, that its influence is uncertain. For eliminate of these errors, especially on troposphere error handling, in the current existing arithmetic, the majority of the model is based on global or large regional, but few for local or small regional.In this paper, we have done the basis analysis as well as several specific researches as follows:1. Firstly, the principles and methods of Precise Point Positioning are elucidated, as well as discussed its mathematical model, and then analyzed advantages and disadvantages between the different models.2. Dissertate the impact of various errors in positioning, and give the corresponding correction method, and especially focused on troposphere error handling, introduce several classical model and mapping functions, as well as discuss the impact of meteorological element on troposphere delay, and the method of estimate troposphere delay parameter.3. Using Matlab platform and based on the GPS data of single base station, the troposphere delay error was simulated by the method of time series, on the chance of to gaining a new regional troposphere error correction model.4. Add the regional troposphere error correction model to the data processing of Precise Point Positioning, then using the coordinate results to compared with the other ones which were added in the classic model of the troposphere correction in the data processing, as well as analyze the difference, at the same time the error data which were calculated by the different correction model calculated was also carried through comparative analysis.
