In recent years, the further development of remote sensing information oriented for production and practicality has been more and more restricted by the uncertainty from the process of treating with remote sensing information. Generally, the uncertainty of remote sensing information comes into being in the processes of obtaining data, dealing with and analyzing data, and spreads abroad continuously in the succedent processes. With the swift and violent development of industrialization of remote sensing information, consumers request that the quality of data should be higher and higher. The products of remote sensing information that are lack of indexes for weighing the quality of data will not be believed by the consumers like other products. Therefore, the study of the uncertainty from the process of treating with remote sensing information has been a hotspot in the domanial of remote sensing technology.First of all, we introduced the background and significance of the uncertainty of spatial data, its development status inside and outside and theory basis for studying the uncertainty of remote sensing information in this theory. Be dead against the uncertainty from the process of treating with remote sensing information, we try to take two typical processes of treating with remote sensing information-geometric accurate correction and classification of images for example, through analyzing the source and the statistics of the uncertainty, so it will be convenient for us to understand the uncertainty from the process of treating with remote sensing information correctly. In succession, taking control treatment of the uncertainty from the process of treating with remote sensing information for example, we try to bring forward material control measures to achieve quality control of image rectification. Finally, in order to express spatial distribution of the uncertainty, we adopted the method of Kriging to express the uncertainty from the process of treating with remote sensing information in the form of isoline and three dimension views. We hope it is available for us to understand existence and spatial distribution of the uncertainty, and provide some significant references for further study.
