Western new area, especially Junggar basin, will be main field of oil exploration and development with the enhancement of exploration and the development of oil industry. In the western region, the objective regulation of seismic wave excitation, propagation and reception procedure is different from the eastern region, with the difference of earth's surface structure condition and the difference style of construction. The surface in western is complicated with the desert, the Gobi and the mountain area, nature condition is worse. On the other hand, the basin area is wide, the construction buries deep, the geologic strata is older, the motion is multifarious in history, the fracture type is much and the fracture system is unusually complicated.In this paper, the increase of technique level of the seismic acquisition quality control is purpose. We commences from the seismic data characteristics analysis, wide the artifice of on-site processing, improve quality of processing and analysis according to the complicated surface, low signal-to-noise ratio data and the high resolution exploration seismic data. It mainly includes two research contents, analysis of Junggar basin seismic data characteristic and its processing method. In the aspects of seismic data characteristic analysis, it creatively puts forward the modern power spectrum analysis technique and the signal-to-noise ratio section analysis technique. The modern power spectrum analysis technique, with the parameter model of random process for foundation, abandoned the implicit hypothesis of being windowed the data sequence, implicating the hypothesis of extrapolation for autocorrelation function, have high frequency distinguish and the good performance. The signal-to-noise ratio section technology using correlation statistics method can form signal-to-noise ratio section which is direct and dynamic and quantitative analysis result. It broke the calculating localization in single window instead of time variety method. Aiming at the low signal-to-noise ratio seismic data, the frequency spectrum analysis and the signal-to-noise ratio estimate can't give a good evaluation; we studied the autocorrelation analysis method for seismic data. It has the great significance in the aspects of low signal-to-noise ratio data analysis. In seismic data processing, we have studied static correction technique, wavelet correction technique and the noise attenuation technique. In this article, multi-restriction wavelet correction has largely solved the problem of the high frequency information losing in phase match. The noise attenuation method based on the seismic data reconstruction technique is benefits to protect the valid information while suppressing the noise and improve fidelity. It is an effective means of seismic acquisition quality control in western. Multi-steps correlation filter multiple attenuation technique can compress multiple effectively in western seismic data that the multiple is overgrown.This research got better effect when it was applied to seismic acquisition quality control in the western new zone Junggar basin. it shows that the seismic acquisition quality control and analysis work in the western region can efficiently be completed with these techniques. It is profound to real-time control and feed back of the seismic acquisition, synthetic research of seismic data quality control and new technology development.
