Distribution And Sedimentary Faces Of Mesozoic Main Aim Strata Of South Shoal Zone In Huang-hua Depression

Huang-hua Depression locates in Bohai bay basin,it is a rift basin formed in Mesozoic and superposed on the basement rocks of the North China Craton . Its south shoal zone locates on south edge of Qikou Sag in Huang-hua Depression . it is the slopeing belts from Cheng-ning Uplift Belt to Qikou Sag . this paper takes south shoal zone Mesozoic strata and sedimentary faces as the research object .The Mesozoic strata in Huang-hua Depression is continental clastic rock , it's lithology is single , characteristic is similar , and it's thickness has great change . In the study area the Mesozoic strata are covered with Cenozoic strata , and there is no outcrop . In addition , tectonic movements effect the strata time after time . these factors result in the Mesozoic strata complex and the strata are ploted out difficultly .Based on the theories of sedimentology , tectonics , reservoir sedimentology and Petroleum geology etc , by integration of all available information and data of seism ,well logging,core and Palaeontology , the Mesozoic strata is ploted out . The study area can be divided into two parts(north and south) by Yang'erzhuang fault . The south zone of research area omits J1-2 . Triassic distributes in south zone , centralizing in concealed Paleozoic anticline with EW trending and being angle unconformable contact with C- P . In north zone, J1-2 is distributed in low-lying of multi-anticline . The long axes of the residual Mesozoic strata are EW trending . The depo-center of J1-2 is near to the east section and the residual depth of Mesozoic is incrassate from circumambience to the deposit-center.Based on Mesozoic strata compartmentation, the paper probes into the lithofacies, well logging faces and seismic faces of the Mesozoic strata . On the base of these researches, the paper studies the faces and sub-faces of the Mesozoic Main Aim Strata. The Mesozoic main aim strata are Lower-Jurassic which is plait river faces formed in humid- semi- humid weather condition. Plait river faces can be divided into stream channel sub-faces and alluvial flat sub-faces. The fabric and constituent maturity of Conglomerate of stream channel sub-faces is fine, and so can act as reservoir, while the alluvial flat sub-faces is fine sediments and can be as cap rock.
