With the rapid development of economic construction in the cities of our country, energy demand increases rapidly, which causes an increasing demand for oil and gas resources. West-East Gas Pipeline Project as China's largest natural gas pipeline in the energy supply plays a very big role; However, in the process of pipeline operations, environmental geological disasters occurs frequently, seriously affecting the safety of pipeline operations, with pipeline water-damaging the most prominent. There is a lack of systematic evaluation to determine the severances of dangers caused to pipelines in our country. This thesis attempts to do some useful explorations this field. With Pipeline water-damaging as its study object, the thesis expatiates on geological conditions of water-damaging, its forming mechanisms, growing types and distributing characteristics on the basis of field investigation and detailed analysis. As for water-damaging of pipes, a combination of preliminary assessment and comprehensive assessment is adapted; from area to point, all suspected disaster points are preliminarily assessed, and key disaster points are comprehensively evaluated; the evaluation system is systematized and scientific, and its maneuverability is enhanced during management.Secondly, the thesis initially establishes a comprehensive evaluation methodology and index system for water-damaging of pipelines, and gives the factor corresponding quantitative evaluation of the base-level value. Grey clustering analysis is used based on hierarchical clustering analysis and the analysis of the two fuzzy comprehensive evaluation quantitative evaluation of the damaged pipeline grades with the results of quantitative evaluation of the basic qualitative analysis anastomosis. Both quantitative method for evaluating comprehensive evaluation of the damaged pipeline is an attempt to have achieved very good results, the results of the investigation and basically the same situation, and has a strong practical and evaluation methods for future reference evaluation of the damaged pipelines. Finally, in accordance with the severity of the damaged pipelines, control measures are put forward respectively to provide information for the management of oil and gas pipeline.
