Oil and gas resources are the material basis of the survival and development of oil industry. As one of the important oil and gas basins,Songliao basin occupies an important position in the history of China oil industry development.Through 50 years large-scale oil exploration,we get some important discoveries of oil and gas in the many oil layers of Songliao basin and 6 billions tons proved oil reserves in the north of Songliao basin. The proved oil reserves of middle oil and gas portfolio occupies more than 75%.Espacially,the proved oil reserves of Putaohua gets to 24 billions tons,is one of the important exploration projects. The Putaohua layer is in the middle petroleum system, mainly to delta front of the band. Through the comprehensive geological study of oil,it has showed the exploration scene of depression in recent years. On the plane,we may subdivide Putaohua layer into three zones—structure pool, lithologic structure or tectonic lithologic and lithologic reservoir from the north to the south of the basin. In this article,on the base of the third resource evaluation and according to the process of exploration and reserves growth of Putaohua layer,we evaluates the remaining proved oil resources by applying the discovery process model and the generalized Pareto model.Through analizing,we think the proved oil reserves of Putaohua is 35-40 biliions tons and the remaining oil reserves is 11-16 biliions tons.According to Weibull model,HCZ model and Logistic model,we forecast the growth trend of the remaining proved oil reserves in the Putaohua layer. In the during of 11th and the 12th Five-Year Plan, the annual reserve of Putaohua layer is still the peak period of the reserve growth and the annual reserve growth is about 30 millions tons,is still more than 20 millions tons to the year of 2030.The main zones are the Qijia-Gulong depression and the neighboring zones of Sanzhao depression. To the end of the 11th Five-Year Plan,we may find 3 billions tons proved oil reserves.
